Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj said this

"To be a living being is not the ultimate state; there is something beyond, much more wonderful, which is neither being nor non-being, neither living nor not-living. It is a state of pure awaraeaness, beyond the limitations of space and time."

It would be interesting if this attempt could help to the clarify the various states of consciousness experienced and described by mystics and yogis.

As humans, we amass vast digital information about the material world and about the surface psychology but little is known about the realms of consciousness. We assume that only on this level there is variety and that all else is extensive undifferentiated consciousness.

Now we need to investigate our speculations and conclusions about this in just as much detail as we have in our probing into the material world.

If this Pure Awareness blog could help in this, it would be a super-service in removing our ignorance of the Transcendental.
